Emotion Focused Family Therapy
Parents and children can have a loving relationship yet still face conflicts, which can be challenging when things seem to go awry. In today's complex world, disagreements between parents and children are common. However, communication and critical thinking skills are valuable and can be developed further. Parents are invited to engage in parent coaching sessions.
Through the EFFT framework, caregivers are empowered to nurture their loved one's emotional growth and self-assurance. Parent coaching provides parents with the necessary tools to find balance and success while tackling the daily trials of parenting. The focus areas may involve peer relationships, school conflicts, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and parental mental health issues. Parent coaching aims to mend, cultivate, and fortify the bond between a caregiver and their child.
The initial session is a 50-minute introduction.
